SV	En zij begroeven hem in zijn graf, dat hij voor zich gegraven had in de stad Davids, en legden hem op het bed, hetwelk hij gevuld had met specerijen, en dat van verscheidene soorten, naar apothekerskunst toebereid; en zij brandden over hem een ganse grote branding.
WLC	וַיִּקְבְּרֻ֣הוּ בְקִבְרֹתָ֗יו אֲשֶׁ֣ר כָּֽרָה־לֹו֮ בְּעִ֣יר דָּוִיד֒ וַיַּשְׁכִּיבֻ֗הוּ בַּמִּשְׁכָּב֙ אֲשֶׁ֤ר מִלֵּא֙ בְּשָׂמִ֣ים וּזְנִ֔ים מְרֻקָּחִ֖ים בְּמִרְקַ֣חַת מַעֲשֶׂ֑ה וַיִּשְׂרְפוּ־לֹ֥ו שְׂרֵפָ֖ה גְּדֹולָ֥ה עַד־לִמְאֹֽד׃ פ
Trans.	wayyiqəbəruhû ḇəqiḇərōṯāyw ’ăšer kārâ-lwō bə‘îr dāwîḏ wayyašəkîḇuhû bammišəkāḇ ’ăšer millē’ bəśāmîm ûzənîm məruqqāḥîm bəmirəq^aḥaṯ m^a‘ăśeh wayyiśərəfû-lwō śərēfâ gəḏwōlâ ‘aḏ-limə’ōḏ:

AC	יד ויקברהו בקברתיו אשר כרה לו בעיר דויד וישכיבהו במשכב אשר מלא בשמים וזנים מרקחים במרקחת מעשה וישרפו לו שרפה גדולה עד למאד {פ}
ASV	And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had hewn out for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odors and divers kinds [of spices] prepared by the perfumers' art: and they made a very great burning for him.
BE	And they put him into the resting-place which he had made for himself in the town of David, in a bed full of sweet perfumes of all sorts of spices, made by the perfumer's art, and they made a great burning for him.
Darby	And they buried him in his own sepulchre, which he had excavated for himself in the city of David, and laid him in a bed filled with spices, a mixture of divers kinds prepared by the perfumer's art; and they made a very great burning for him.
ELB05	Und man begrub ihn in seinem Begräbnis, das er sich in der Stadt Davids gegraben hatte. Und man legte ihn auf ein Lager, das man gefüllt hatte mit Gewürz und Spezereien, gemischt nach der Kunst der Salbenmischung; und man veranstaltete für ihn einen sehr großen Brand.
LSG	on l'enterra dans le sépulcre qu'il s'était creusé dans la ville de David. On le coucha sur un lit qu'on avait garni d'aromates et de parfums préparés selon l'art du parfumeur, et l'on en brûla en son honneur une quantité très considérable.
Sch	Und man begrub ihn in seinem Grabe, das er sich in der Stadt Davids hatte aushauen lassen. Und sie legten ihn auf ein Lager, welches man angefüllt hatte mit gutem Räucherwerk und allerlei Spezereien, nach der Kunst des Salbenbereiters gemacht, und sie zündeten ihm ein sehr großes Feuer an.
